Caroline Mensah If it was possible to rate the experience I had with Elevate Styles with a minus rating against it, I would. Unfortunately I cannot, so I have awarded them a one star rating, which given my experience, I think is generous. My ordeal began in late November, when I was sent out defective/faulty unit. When I opened the package, it was CLEAR that the package had been tampered with. The exterior box had been torn & the interior contents had been interfered with.
Understandably I was not at all happy with this, so I emailed Elevate Styles promptly to commence the return process. I knew that they have a 14 day turn around for returns, so I had to act quickly to get this unit back to them.
In spite of my multiple emails to them asking what their return process was, they took four days to respond to my first email. My email detailed the fact that the unit had been damaged when it arrived to my door. At no point was an apology offered from the customer service reps. Their attitude was extremely apathetic & abrupt. The staff were completely unhelpful. Saying things like "We will confirm & get back to you" when I requested updates about my query. Guess what, nobody ever gave me a confirmation on what was happening or a timeframe as to when I would hear back from them. I sent them multiple emails, some of which were ignored. Their correspondence with me was sporadic. I have to say that in terms of assisting a customer to resolve an issue, Elevate Styles' approach was substandard. I have never received such poor customer service from any other organisation before. Elevate Styles takes the win where extremely poor customer service is concerned. Whoever is responsible for training those reps should take a bow, because if the aim was to provide terrible customer service to their customer's. They have definitely acheived that status. I tried to call them a number of times to ask what was happening with my refund & all I got in return was a voicemail. All I wanted was my refund for a damaged item & for the matter to be resolved quickly. Sadly, it was dragged out. Fast forward to January & I have finally received my refund. Dealing with Elevate Styles was extremely frustrating. I shall never patronise them again & will spend my money at a reputable vendor the next time I decide to buy a wig. Looking at previous reviews, it is clear that other customers have also complainer about their terrible customer service experience. Elevate Styles.
